Tempa Rossa Project, Italy

Tempa Rossa is a crude oil depot situated in the Sauro valley, in the heart of the Basilicata region, in southern Italy. The project mainly extends over the municipality of Corleto Perticara (PZ), where the treatment facility will be raised.

Once fully operating, the plant will have a daily production capacity of ca. 50.000 oil barrels, 230.000 m3 of LNG, 240 tons of LPG and 80 tons of sulphur, representing one of the most developed plants in the Oil & Gas sector.

The main operator in charge of developing the project is TOTAL E&P Italia, while the main contractor is represented by the Tecnimont and Tecnimont KT group.

Paresa is executing several works under three different awarded contracts within the Tempa Rossa project.

Lot 1A/B (in consortium with 2 other companies):

  • Erection of ca. 6.000 ton steel structures

  • Prefabrication and erection of ca. 1.600 ton piping and pipe-racks

  • Erection of ca. 4.000 ton equipment

  • Painting

Lot 1 Balance (in consortium with 2 other companies):

  • Erection of ca. 2.000 ton steel structures

  • Prefabrication and erection of ca. 3.000 ton piping and pipe-racks

  • Erection of ca. 3.700 ton equipment

  • Painting

  • Insulation on ca. 140.000 m2

Storage tanks erection:

  • Erection of 2 floating roof storage tanks of ca. 36.000 m3 each
